The Creative Heart Behind Pink Petals Brisbane
Hi, I’m Leanne — founder, floral designer, and all-around flower lover at Pink Petals Brisbane.
My journey into floristry began in 2023, following a varied career in administration, finance, and bridal hair and makeup artistry (yep — I wore many hats back in New Zealand!).
But after years away from the creative world, I felt something was missing. So, I followed my heart, completed my Cert III in Floristry, and started Pink Petals with a clear focus: Beautiful, bespoke florals for weddings, elopements, and events — with a whole lot of heart and a whole lot of pink.
Why I Do What I Do
I’ve always adored flowers — don’t ask me to pick a favourite though! It changes weekly because, let’s face it, they’re all pretty.
What I love most about floristry is the ability to tell a story through flowers — to take your vision and bring it to life in a way that feels personal, polished, and full of joy. I work from my private studio in Greenbank (4124), and while the name is Pink Petals, the studio space is actually all white (ironic, I know!).
What Makes Pink Petals Different?
Pink Petals is a proudly independent Brisbane wedding florist, not part of any florist network. Every floral design is custom-made by me — no templates, no stock images, no copy-paste weddings.
What you see on my website and Instagram are my real creations, for real couples. That matters.
Whether you're after elopement flowers, micro wedding florals, or full-scale event installations, I create arrangements that feel like you — beautiful, fresh, and thoughtfully crafted.
